Wedding Photography

Photographs are an invaluable way to capture your wedding day and provide a lasting memory that future generations can enjoy.

Its important to choose your photography carefully, so a little research will be well worth it.

Ultimately all photographers will bring their personal touches to a job, whether it is in the composition, use of light or styling.  Its up to you to find the company or individual whose style you are both completely happy with.

Browsing through photographers websites initially is a great way to assess the style and cost of a photographer’s work.  When you have made your selection remember to check their professional qualifications and make sure they have insurance, should anything go wrong on the day.

In winter, indoor photographs look marvellous, especially if you have a warming log fire in the background.  If you’re getting married somewhere pretty, make the most of your surroundings as a backdrop for your photos.  Think creatively too.  A shower of confetti or bubbles for example is not only good fun for your guests to organise but will give you some lively pictures too.  In winter don’t forget how beautiful nature is, especially if you are lucky enough to have snow!

Placing disposable cameras on tables is also a fun way of getting some informal photographs.  These photos will often capture moments of the day that you may have missed, providing you with a few unexpected delights.
