Denise Van Outen has been spotted looking loved-up at a celebrity event this week, wearing a rather dazzling diamond engagement ring.

According to industry insiders, the 34-year-old celebrity bride-to-be was smiling from ear to ear and could barley keep her eyes off her future hubby, Lee Mead.

The star of West End show Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat proposed to Denise last month after a year of dating, before whisking her away to celebrate their upcoming wedding planning in the Caribbean.

And what’s more, Denise was spotted eyeing up a few wedding dresses at The National Wedding Show in London, before enjoying the catwalk show with a glass of champagne to boot.

“Denise and Lee are so happy. They are both traditional people and it was a traditional proposal as Lee went down on one knee and then took Denise to St Lucia,” a source told the Sun.

The celebrity couple met while filming reality talent show Any Dream Will Do in 2007, which landed Lee the lead role in the popular musical production.

Commenting on whether he knew Denise would accept his proposal, Lee recently told Now magazine: “You never know fully, but we love each other a lot so I was definitely 99 per cent sure. And I was so happy when she said yes straight away.”

So it might be time to get those wedding invitations ordered, Denise!  We think Denise would look stunning in an ivory and dusky pink dress, with a pink velvet blossom suite of wedding stationery to match…
