Before we print your order we will email you a final proof as a PDF document. At this stage it is crucial that you check the designs very carefully before you sign them off. As soon as we have your written approval we will send the cards to print, so please double and triple check your proofs before confirming that they are correct.

To help you, we have put together a Proofing Checklist:

  • Does the proof cover all of the stationery items you have ordered?
  • Is all the relevant information included in the text?
  • Is the spelling & punctuation correct?
  • Dates, names, professional titles, addresses, email & web addresses, and telephone numbers must be checked.
  • Are all patterns and design elements included as expected? Anything that does not appear on your proof will not be printed.
  • Are all fonts correct?
  • Is the text spaced properly? Does the text align as anticipated? Is there sufficient space for your guests names to be written (if required)?
  • Are the colours correct, if necessary have Pantone colours been referenced?
  • Please check that abbreviations are not included in the copy and that all dates and addresses are spelled out in full.
  • We recommend that you print out the PDF proof we email to you, so that you can view the life size of the text. Are you happy with the size of the text and all other contents of the proof?
